Elizabeth wrote the expert report and served as the testifying expert witness for Gerling Global Reinsurance Company in the precedent-setting Gerling Global v. ACE trial in New York federal court, a case for rescission of two facultative reinsurance contracts. Elizabeth testified on the custom and practice of handling asbestos claims. This case resulted in a successful jury verdict in Gerling’s favor.
